I provide a variety of therapies, tailored to suit the needs of individuals of all ages.
What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a powerful healing system designed to relieve stress and emotional distress. Rooted in ancient Chinese medicine, EFT works with the body’s energy pathways, known as meridians, similar to those used in acupuncture.
Developed in the 1990s by Gary Craig, a pioneer in energy therapy, EFT has become a leading method for stress management among specialists in the
UK.
"Based on impressive new discoveries regarding the body’s subtle energies, EFT has been reported successful in thousands of cases. It applies to a wide variety of emotional health and performance issues and often works where nothing else will."
- Gary Craig, Founder of EFT

How Does EFT Work?
EFT involves gently tapping on specific meridian points, primarily on the face and hands, while focusing on negative thoughts or emotions. This tapping sends calming signals to the brain, particularly to the areas responsible for stress response, such as the limbic system. By signaling that it is safe, the body reduces the release of cortisol—the stress hormone—allowing a sense of calm and balance to return. This process helps neutralize emotional distress and fosters a more rational, positive mindset.
Advanced research by Dr. Dawson Church, author of “Genie in Your Genes”, has shown that EFT can significantly reduce cortisol levels, easing the body's stress response. These gentle yet effective techniques can address a wide range of issues, making them particularly helpful for those who find it difficult to articulate their worries. By releasing emotional pain and trauma, EFT offers a path to inner peace and emotional resilience.

Meditation and Mindfulness:
Finding Peace Within Yourself
Meditation is a practice that takes various forms, all aimed at guiding your body, mind, and spirit into a state of calm and inner stillness. One common method involves focusing on the breath, leading to a progressive relaxation of the body and mind. As your body relaxes, your mind naturally follows, transitioning into alpha and theta brainwave states, which are associated with deeper levels of consciousness and tranquillity.
Meditation can also take the form of a guided visual journey, where you are gently led through serene and peaceful scenes, such as a tranquil forest, a calm beach, or a quiet meadow. These vivid mental images help to anchor your attention, directing your thoughts away from daily stresses and allowing your mind to find stillness. As you immerse yourself in this space, you release tension and promoting a deep state of inner peace and rejuvenation. Through meditation, the constant chatter of the mind begins to quiet. By gently accepting your thoughts and focusing on breathing, bodily sensations, visual imagery, or soothing sounds, you cultivate a serene mental space.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness meditation has been a cornerstone of wellbeing in Eastern cultures for centuries, and its profound benefits are now recognized and embraced in the West. While once considered primarily a spiritual practice, meditation is now appreciated for its scientifically proven stress-relief benefits, enhancing both mental and physical health.
The practice of Mindfulness meditation, while rooted in Buddhism, is often taught and practiced in a secular way, emphasizing kindness and compassion for both ourselves and others. Mindfulness involves bringing one’s attention to the present moment, observing thoughts and feelings without resistance or judgment. This gentle awareness creates harmony and helps us cultivate a compassionate understanding of our minds. As we integrate mindfulness into our daily lives, the peace and balance it brings become increasingly evident, making the practice a deeply rewarding journey.

What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a profound method for accessing the subconscious mind to heal emotional and psychological issues. The hypnotic trance is a state of deep relaxation, one of the oldest healing practices, found in cultures across the globe. Before the advent of modern anaesthesia, forms of hypnosis were used to help patients relax deeply during surgeries and childbirth.
Today, hypnotherapy is widely recognized for its effectiveness in helping people quit smoking, manage weight, overcome addictions, relieve stress, and build confidence. In this deeply relaxed state, the subconscious mind becomes open to positive change, allowing us to revisit and release painful memories or negative patterns. This process can facilitate the transformation of old, limiting beliefs into empowering new ones.

How Does Hypnotherapy Work?
During hypnotherapy, you are gently guided into a relaxed state through a series of calming techniques led by the therapist's voice. While deeply relaxed, your subconscious mind can remember detail from the past, otherwise forgotten, releasing stressful memories or habitual patterns and recoding more positive mindsets. While you are in this theta brain-state your conscious mind remains aware and is capable of emerging from the trance at any moment.
In my practice, hypnotherapy is used to access and release the emotional charge from past memories, transforming negative thoughts into positive ones. This process brings a sense of peace, renewed energy, new perception and greater self-control.
Many clients also find that the relaxation and visualization techniques enhance their overall wellbeing, improving sleep, and foster calm and balance during stressful times.
What is Matrix Reimprinting?
Matrix Reimprinting is an advanced technique that evolved from EFT and it focuses on transforming past traumatic memories that might be negatively influencing your current emotional state and behaviour.

How does it work?
In Matrix Reimprinting you are guided by your subconscious mind, to revisit specific memories, often referred to as 'echoes' — representations of your younger self at the time of the trauma. Instead of merely tapping on the present emotions, this technique works by changing the emotional content of the memory itself. Through tapping and visualization, the memory is 'reimprinted' with a more positive, empowering narrative, which helps shift the way you relate to that memory in the present.
This approach is deeply effective in addressing a range of issues, from anxiety and depression to limiting beliefs and physical ailments. By rewriting the subconscious programming tied to these memories, Matrix Reimprinting allows for profound emotional healing and a transformation of current beliefs and perceptions.
What is PTT? (Picture Tapping Technique)
Picture Tapping Technique (PTT) is an innovative extension of EFT, developed by Philip Davis of Phoenix EFT. This method blends the effectiveness of EFT with the creative power of imagination and artistic metaphor to facilitate painless emotional release. PTT can be especially beneficial in situations where discussing the problem directly may feel too overwhelming or when the root cause of distress isn’t fully understood.

How Does PTT Work?
The PTT process involves drawing a series of simple pictures—shapes, patterns, or even scribbles—that represent your feelings or issues. While no artistic skill is required, these images serve as profound symbols from the subconscious mind. As you tap on EFT meridian points and describe your drawings, the process gently accesses and releases emotional layers, allowing deep healing to occur without the need for verbal articulation.
PTT is particularly effective for addressing broad, complex issues, situations where verbal expression is difficult, or when the source of emotional distress is unclear. This technique is also highly supportive for children, helping them process trauma and difficulties in a non-verbal, gentle manner.
